Kongregate - Civilizations Wars - Runes of Ruin Achievement Guide

To get this achievement, you need to earn 10 in-game achievements. Simply aiming for the easy ones will get you this achievement in no time.

How To:

Rune for earning
500 kills.

Simply win one game by capturing all the buildings on a level.
Play the second level. Capture all the buildings except for one minor house. Call in 20 Fireball strikes on the single enemy fort for another in-game achievement.
At this point you should have already gotten 500 kills, earning you another achievement.
Use your skill points to invest in one level of Lightning. Again, capture all the buildings except one. Repeatedly use Lightning 20 times. Use Lightning on an open spot and not on the enemy building. Doing so could result in you massacring the remaining troops, leading you to victory. Although victory is good, it’s not what you’re aiming for at the moment, so again, use the Lightning on an open spot.
Win 10 games. Simply play the early levels on normal setting repeatedly.
By this point, you should also have conquered 100 houses.
You should also have been victorious for 5 games in normal setting.
Complete any stage without using magic if you have not done so already. I recommend the first level if you haven’t gotten this achievement yet.
Invest some Skill Points on Meteorite. Take off points from other skills if you don’t have enough, especially other spells. Use it 20 times.
Take off Meteorite and put in Swamp. Use that 20 times to get your final in-game achievement.

Tips:

Don’t forget to invest your Skill Points on other important skills besides spells, such as agility and defense.
Obviously this isn’t the only way to get the achievement. However, it is a surefire way of getting it. Don’t be afraid of taking sidesteps if you decide to follow this guide.
